World star soccer player Wayne Rooney has joined a new club, but it isn't for sports--unless that means "sporting" a new head of hair. The renowned striker for England and Manchester United, decided to undergo hair transplant after going bald at his relatively young age (25). He recently confirmed the procedure and posted a picture on his Twitter, and reported he was "delighted with the result." Rooney took time to also thank the care of the staff in London where he underwent his procedure.
At the New Jersey Plastic Surgery Center, we understand that hair transplant can be an emotional issue, and that's why Rooney giving a nod to the staff who performed his procedure struck us. We too perform individual follicle hair transplants with great expertise, understanding, and ease. In fact,
complete hair transplants can frequently be performed in one sitting. Most patients who undergo hair transplants are able to return to work the day following surgery and can comb their new hair within a few months.
